Shoebox Appeal December 2018
During the month of December our children and parents were asked to kindly donate a shoebox for the homeless people in Slough. We asked for a box filled with:
Underwear
Socks
Baby wipes
Deodorant or Soap
Toothbrush & Toothpaste
Chocolate (long sell by date)
Hand warmer
Sanitary Towels (if ladies)
Card, note or even a short letter
Colouring book, puzzle book and pens.
Other items:
Treat type snacks
Emergency Silver Foil Sleep Bag
Gloves
Hat
Book/Novel
Rain Poncho
Wind up torch
Mini Sewing Kit
High Energy Snacks (long sell by date)
We managed to work together and produce nearly 300 shoeboxes. A big thank you to our children and parents for collating all the gifts together for those who are less fortunate.
We look forward working together with Langar Aid, Slough Outreach and Khalsa Aid in the near future.
