Award Ceremony 2019

At Khalsa, we value the hard work children do on a daily basis at school. To celebrate this, on Friday 5th July 2019 our Annual Award Ceremony took place at Baylis House

Our chief guest was Mrs Jo Curd. Mrs Curd is the Senior Schools Effectiveness Officer for the Slough Borough Council.

We are also thankful to Flight Lieutenant Harriet Tadikonda and Sergeant Khem Singh Malhotra from the British Armed Forces that also attended.

For our first set of awards, class teachers chose pupils that have shown great achievement and endeavour this academic year.

Achievement awards are given to students who have worked hard throughout the year through their academics.  Endeavour awards are given to students who have shown great resilience and determination throughout the year.

The other awards given on the night are based on specific subject excellence. These are ICT, Sports, Geography, Shabad, Punjabi, Sikh Studies, Art, Science, Reading, Writing, Math, History, Super Super Citizen, and Principals Award.

Well done to all the children who were awarded for their great achievements! Please click here if you wish to see the list of the award winners.

We are also very thankful to the parents for supporting the children and the school.
