Mrs Sandhu warmly welcome you to Nursery.

The aim of this page is to highlight some of the fantastic learning that has been happening in Nursery, this page will be updated monthly, with photographs and information about the learning we have completed during the month.

It has been a delight to have the children in nursery, the children have been really excited and enjoying their new setting.

They have grasped the routine well in these few weeks which has been impressive. Many children have settled in well and made new friends. The children have been socialising in the home area, they have been cooking and cleaning pretending to be mummies and daddies. Children have been taking turns and sharing resources well with each other. They have been exploring in the sand pit and mud kitchen by using their senses. The construction area has been a very popular section, children have been building houses leading to a lot of conversations.

Children have been getting creative on the art area using their gross and fine motor skills to draw self-portraits by looking in to the mirror. We have really enjoyed learning and listening to different nursery rhymes especially ‘12345 once I caught a fish alive’ which has been helping us with counting.
