Welcome to Life at KPS for Year 4

Mr Sussmann and Mrs Thamu warmly welcome you to Year 4.

The aim of this page is to highlight some of the fantastic learning that has been happening in Year 4, this page will be updated monthly, with photographs and information about the learning we have completed during the month.

We hope you enjoy looking through these updates and do discuss your child’s learning with them to celebrate their success. We look forward to any suggestions you may have to make your child’s learning a pleasant experience.

July 2022

It has been an exciting final month at school for Year 4! We have been finalising our persuasive writing letters using the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.

Children have used their imaginations and the persuasive writing skills they learnt this term.

Children have also been finessing their analogue clock skills and learning the basics of plotting points on grids.

We have been exploring their upcoming transition to year 5 and discussing worries as well as those things they are looking forward to. Girls and boys had also separate chats with the teachers regarding personal hygiene including the menstruation cycle for the girls
