MAD education experience day began with great gusto from the week beginning Monday 7th June 2012 till Friday 11th June 2021 at Khalsa primary school. We were blessed with glorious weather to enjoy the activities with full fervour.

Children from Year 3 to Year 6 were able to take part in various activities ranging from: archery fitness, minefield, obstacle course, fire lighting and toasting marshmallows. Year 6 were able to enjoy the activities for two full days. They also took part in building an aqueduct, trust test, casualty evacuation, blind fold communication task.

MAD education was able to bring an exciting mix of outdoor learning styles & activities whilst in the safety and comfort of our own school. They helped with the development of our children by using the tool of outdoor learning. Children were encouraged towards the edge of their comfort zone and participated in, and at times instructing, their military themed activities.

The aim of this day was to bring children together through communication tasks, increase their confidence by challenging them with team tasks, unlock leadership skills through problem solving and installing core values such as: Discipline, Respect, Courage and Kindness.

It was one of the most amazing experience for our school so far!!
