    can you look out the window and count how many birds
    you can see?
11:30am to 12:30am Look at things around the room and say the sounds they begin with. Can you hear the sound they end with too? Try writing some of them down. Look around the garden, what minibeasts/insects can you find?
Try looking under plant pots or stones, looking on leaves or bushes. You could draw a picture or take a photo of any mini beasts you find.
Can you look in a book and find any of these words? Which words did you spot the most?

Try making a model minibeast!
You could use playdough or empty cardboard boxes and tubes. Empty yogurt pots or plastic bottles could also be used. Maybe you could make a butterfly, a worm, a ladybird or a spider.
Play a game with an adult, take it in turn to give instructions. For example, ‘Touch your f-ee-t or ‘stand u-p.’
12:30am to 1:30pm Lunch and something active
1:30pm to 1:45pm Reading records –

read for 15 minutes and write in your record or read ‘The very hungry caterpillar’.
